Background:
ESC, aka The Early Service Choir, was formed in 1996 to provide music for a new 8:30 AM Sunday worship service. The original trio agreed to sing and pick for three months or so, until permanent arrangements could be made. It would appear that we are the "permanent arrangements", as we're still at it. Over the years we have evolved from a folk/gospel trio to a full fledged band, with electric guitars, keyboards, bass, and drums. Our musical offerings range from traditional hymns, to gospel, to contemporary Christian, to Christian rock. We try to keep things fresh by growing as musicians and Christians...after all, you can only sing Kum Ba Ya so many times.

Our Mission:
It hasn't changed in 10 years: To enhance the quality of prayer during the celebration of Christ in any service. If our musical arrangements and voices can encourage even one individual to stop and take a moment to pray to our Lord and Saviour, then we will have accomplished our mission. We also try to bring both reverence and fun to the 8:30 service..it's evident that we're having fun...we hope y'all are too.
