Church Staff
Ray G. Jones, III
Dr. Ray G. Jones, III Senior Pastor
Ray is the organizing pastor of the Macland Presbyterian Church. He started his ministry in Cobb County in 1993 with a dream that Macland Presbyterian Church would be a place in which people would encounter the love of God and experience their lives changing as a result of that meeting. It is his hope that as people experience the presence of God in the church, they will find groups in which to grow as disciples and will claim their spiritual gifts to serve God in the world. Macland continues to be a place in which God is at work!

Before answering the call to develop this new church, Ray served the Sumner Presbyterian Church in Sumner, Mississippi and the First Presbyterian Church of Bay Minette, Alabama. Ray received his education at Furman University and Columbia Theological Seminary. He is married and the father of two daughters.

Zeta T. Lamberson
Rev. Zeta T. Lamberson, Associate Pastor for Administration and Christian Education
Zeta brings her passion for ministry and desire to help others know the Biblical story in a way that informs our daily life to Macland. Ordained in 1991 after having served for 15 years as a Church Educator in churches in Virginia, South Carolina, West Virginia and Georgia, Zeta has a love of Christian Education and a wealth of experience with administration in the church. Her first ordained call was to Peachtree Presbyterian Church in Atlanta where she served for 11 years. God called Zeta and her husband, Bill, to Macland Presbyterian Church in the summer of 2003 to serve a growing church that needed infrastructure to minster to a booming community.

Zeta grew up in Columbia, South Carolina. She is proud to be an alumni of Presbyterian College, Union-PSCE and Columbia Theological Seminary. She is a Certified Christian Educator, an active member of the Association of Presbyterian Church Educators, and Past-President of the South Atlantic & Puerto Rico Region of APCE.
